Google is planning to make the next edition of Google Pixel phone completely bezel-less, without a single cutout that usually holds the selfie camera. The report came from the website 91mobiles.com, who claimed that a new patent from the company has revealed details on the Google Pixel 4 and how it could look in terms of the overall design compared to current Pixel 3 phones.
The patent shows the phone to have the usual dual-color finish and a single camera on the rear, with a fingerprint scanner. The material used could be a combination of metal and glass, but there is confirmation on that. 91mobiles picked up the hints on Pixel 4 from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) a few days ago and posted the images for the patent on their website.
The patent shows more of the design and there is no sign of specifications and the hardware that would come with it. Google has made good progress so far with the Pixel smartphones and has been adding a lot of features in the past few years. The phones stand out widely because of the camera and the free cloud storage that is offered by the tech giant.
The talking point of this patent is the bezel-less design and it is highly likely that Google will implement it considering the current market scenario. It is still early days and there could be more rumours coming up on the Pixel 4 and we could also get a glimpse on the specifications sooner or later.
