The New AT&T Charger Will Power Both iPhone And Apple Watch

Great news for Apple fans who have been wishing for a single charger for all their Apple devices as AT&T is working on a similar prototype which is basically a dual charger for iPhone and Apple Watch. The charger has been spotted on FCC Federal Communications Commission which includes all the documentation for the device. The telecommunication company calls it the “Power Drum Wireless Charger & Apple Watch Power Bank.”

It is actually surprising that this charger is not coming from Apple, which certainly would have blow people’s mind. But nevertheless, the device does look promising enough to fuel the need of iPhone and Apple Watch owners who have been longing for a super useful portable charger that’s also compatible for charging both these devices at the same time. However, we are not sure if the charger will run smoothly without wearing out pretty soon. The company we are talking here is AT&T, so we can be hopeful that they are doing enough research before entering the wireless charger market.

Speaking of the design, there is a space on the front for charging the Apple Watch and there is a Qi charging pad on the top for the iPhone with a capacity of upto 10W. The documentation for this charger reads as:

– Made for: Apple Watch Series 3, Apple Watch Series 2, Apple Watch Series 1, Apple Watch (1st generation)
– 2-in-1 portable charger, charges an Apple Watch and Qi-enabled wireless device simultaneously
– 3000mAh capacity battery
– Built-in magnetic charging module for Apple Watch
– LED charge indicators
– Input: Micro USB
– Output: up to 10W on select wireless charging devices and up to 5W on Apple Watch
