Apple Likely To Launch A Cheaper iPad Mini In 2019

Apple launched the latest iPad Pro this year and has no plans to stop producing more of these for next year. New reports are coming in which say that the company is planning to bring a cheaper version of the iPad Mini next year and we could also see the launch of a 10-inch iPad, instead of the current 9.7 inch models.

A bigger iPad means the design will change slightly and we could also be looking at newer features on the tablet. The new iPad Pro launched by Apple in October saw the inclusion on magnetic Apple Pencil stylus and a much powerful processor compared to the older models. But, the design remained pretty much the same and people have also been worried considering the slight bend on the Pro models.

iPads have also been doubted as not performing well since the past few years but it is not affecting the company’s ambition and it still believes that this device can bring much better profits for them. Earlier this year, TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted that Apple is working on a affordable and low cost iPad device which will be unveiled next year at the spring event.

This could certainly be true considering all the recent developments in the Chinese media as well which dubs the cheaper variant as “iPad Mini 5.” However, it will be interesting to see if Apple packs in all the best features into the expected cheaper models without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
