A new poster on Xiaomi’s Mall App has revealed that the company will be unveiling the Redmi Note 6 soon in China. The launch is expected to take place at an event in the country on November 6. The device was launched by the company in Thailand in September and they did not make any official announcement about launching it on the other markets during the launch. If the reports are believed to be true, the launch in India as well may not be far away.
The poster shows a large sized Chinese text that translates to “wonderful upgrade” and it also displays the date and time of the launch event. There are reports which claim that the company will be looking to launch the next flagship phone ahead of the ‘Singles Day’ online shopping festival in China. This will definitely bring in more customers to purchase the phone and the company may even offer a few discounts.
We are not yet aware about the specifications of the Redmi Note 6, but it has very similar hardware and software configurations to the Redmi Note 5 series. It is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, 6.26-inches screen with 1080 x 2280 pixels Full HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. On the camera front, there are rumors which claim the device to have a 20MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the front for selfies and 12MP camera on the rear which will have AI-powered features such as AI Portrait and AI scene recognition. The handset is expected to be launched in black, blue, red, and Rose Gold colors.
