Starbucks in apparently one of the frequently used Apps globally and this is because people prefer to buy coffee on their way to work, back from work, in the afternoon while taking a break or as and when you they feel to urge to have one. It’s a popular product in developed nations like a USA and people need their daily does of mochas and lattes and this works perfectly when you have the best working App to make your orders online.
Recently, a major bug had stalled the App when an update was rolled out by the developers on October 22. But thanks to this new update, the bug has been fixed and new design improvements have also been made. The App utilises the Google’s Material Design in the completely refreshed UI for navigation and also the bottom layout which will help users browse the App easily if they have phones with bigger screens.
Starbucks made the announcement for the update by saying:
Hi there, coffee lovers. We’re excited to share the new navigation in our app. It’s now easier than ever to get what you need, like the barcode screen from the one-tap Pay button. And, your order now stays in your bag as you explore other features in the app. Your thumbs will thank you.
The barcode scanner is now just a tap away and it can be opened by pressing the floating action Play button. This is easier than before because it will help you pay for your coffee/drinks in the fastest way possible. You can check for your order history and everyday offers at the top and there is the settings section for the App on the right.
