Google is working on a cheaper version of the Google Pixel 3 phone and we are in for an early treat as some of the images for the device have been leaked. This could well be the much awaited budget phone from the company where buyers won’t have to shell out big bucks for similar specifications and design found on the high end Pixel variants.
What we know so far is that the device will be named ‘Sargo’, thanks to the leak made by the Russian publication named Rozetked.me. They were also behind leak of Google Pixel 3 XL before the launch this year. The name Sargo comes from the reference of a few snippets of code in Google’s ARCore software, which was discovered a few months back.
The most interesting part about Google Pixel 3 Lite is that it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is unlike the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL where the company launched them without the jacks and included USB-C type earbuds with Google Assistant support. Seems like the users are not in favour of this new earbuds and they want to go back to the classic 3.5mm jack which is why Google is likely bringing it back.
The Pixel 3 lite will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, coupled with Adreno 615 GPU and 4GB of RAM as well as 32GB of onboard storage. The device is also expected to come with a 12-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash, 8-megapixel front camera, and a 2,915mAh battery.
