Xiaomi had released the first version of the Black Shark gaming smartphone only in China last year. But this time around, the company is looking to go global for the launch of the Black Shark 2. This will be first time that the phone will make it to the smartphone markets outside of China.
The second version of the gaming phone will follow similar design and hardware specifications of the original Black Shark phone. The phone is expected to come with the same Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will sport a 18:9 inch display with rounded corners and an angular X-shaped rear panel. The dual cameras at the back will be vertical which used to be horizontal on the Black Shark.
If you have a question like What’s new on the phone? That is probably the new liquid cooling system inside the Black Shark 2 which will help to cool the device if it gets too hot inside while playing games. Also, there is support for fingerprint scanner at the rear which will keep the front of device neat and simplistic.
Xiaomi may offer something unique for the LED lighting at the back. The battery on the device will be the same as the original one, that is the 4,000mAh battery. Sources say that the new Black Shark could be called the Black Shark Helo. The new phone could be more of a variant than a succesor and we will know about it in detail after the launch.
