It is not even a month since the launch of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max and users have been complaining about a lot of issues on the internet. The latest one is the charging problem that these users have been reportedly facing since the last few days. People are claiming that their iPhones are not charging automatically once plugged into the charger and it needs some form of physical input to initiate the charging.
The issue came to light when several of the new iPhone owners were left disappointed with the performance of their device and they started posting their complaints on the Apple Communities page. An entire thread on that page listens to the iPhone XS device problems, where one of the users had posted this:
I connect the Lightning cable to my phone to charge and most of the time it’s automatically charges. However I’ve noticed several times plugging the phone in and no charge comes up. Tried unplugging and plugging back in, sometimes it’ll work [sic]
The actual issue here could be the faulty hardware on the iPhones like the faulty charging ports or maybe the sensors are weak to detect the electric signals to the phone. Whatever the issue is, nothing is certain now and Apple needs to fix it soon.
On the other hand, many have also claimed that there is no such problem on the iPhone XS and everything is working perfectly fine. Also, there seems to be no issue with the users who charge the iPhone XS with the wireless charging devices like the Qi enabled wireless charging mat.
