‘Swipe To Reply’ Feature Will Be Soon Available On WhatsApp For Android

iOS users already have the ease to swipe reply on WhatsApp and this functionality would soon be available to the Android users. Now, replying to your contact list would get a lot easier rather than scrolling through them to reply the messages or send the usual GIFs and memes. The feature will speed up things for you if your are always busy messaging on this popular social media platform.

Currently, the Android users do have the reply feature from the notifications but this only possible by tapping and holding on the message bubble that needs to be replied. The ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature will be much faster and friendly where users just need to swipe over the message bubble.

The Swipe to Reply feature is currently available in the Android Beta version of the App. We don’t know much about when it will be introduced for the regular users of WhatsApp. iOS users have been making use of this feature for years without any complaints and maybe this is why the company wants to finally introduce it on Android. The news for the feature was received from the twitter handle of WABetaInfo, who keep tracks of changes introduced in upcoming versions of the App.

WhatsApp is also planning on a Dark Mode for the App, following the trend of Dark Mode in YouTube and many other Apps these days. The black mode will apparently help Android users with OLED panels to consume less battery.
