Apple will be selling the newly launched iPhones in India from today. The sale will go live at 6pm on all offline and online retail stores. The company will be offering the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max to their Indian customers, and reports claim that Apple has imported around one lakh units for both models to make sure that the launch proceeds smoothly.
The sale will go live today on Flipkart and Paytm Mall and we are expecting a heavy turnout across online stores. Many people had pre-ordered the phone on Airtel Online Store just after the iPhone launch event on September 12th and Airtel has confirmed that these people will start to receive their iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max phones from September 28th.
The launch will take place today in the following cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad amongst others. The third iPhone from the launch, the iPhone XR has to still wait and will be available in India from October 26 and the pre-order will start from October 19.
One of the Apple retail store owners said that the demand for the iPhone XS Max has been maximum with almost 70% pre-bookings being made for the phone. This proves that the demand for the iPhone XS Max will be at it’s maximum peak in the country and it will drive the revenue stream for Apple India in the coming months. Apple’s iPhone XS is priced between Rs 99,900 to Rs 1,34,900, while the iPhone XS Max is priced in the range of Rs 1,09,900 to Rs 1,44,900.
