Google is making a few tweaks and adjustments to Trips, the travel planner app. This will go along with many other updates for Google Search, taking the company’s 20th Anniversary into account. The redefined interface and new features will help user to keep track of their travel plans effectively and always stay updated on the travel destinations.
The best part of the update is that Google Trips will allow you to continue you travel planning from where you left of. So if you are amid a lot of hotel, flights, restuarant and other sites that you are interested in, the planner will save all the information for you and you can get back to it anytime later on.
For example, if you’ve recently started looking at traveling to Milan, we’ll show you potential trip information in Your Trips like flight prices you’re tracking (if you have any), destination-specific flight and hotel searches, and places you’ve saved. That way, you can easily pick up your travel research when you come back to Google.
Google Search is also adding a new “hotel location score” feature.
For example, you’ll see if a specific hotel is near boutique shops to fill your fashion fix or within walking distance from the Milan Duomo. You’ll also get information on getting to and from airports.
Google is continually expanding the travel tools and aiming to focus more on organising trips with these updates and people will start to see the new interface probably in the end of October.
