Apple Files Patent For Face ID On Mac

Apple has published a new patent on Face ID which shows that the company is working on the same for Mac. Following the Face ID on iPhone X, this will be a big move from Apple if it happens to be implemented in the future line-up of Macs.

The patent states that ‘computer may apply a face detection algorithm at step 92 in order to detect the subject’s face of depth map.’ The patent also indicates how a person could also use torso, legs or hands to signal intent to the Mac.
