YouTube Will Now Let Creators Know About Copied Content

A new YouTube tool will start scanning videos once the creator uploads the video to help deal with the stolen and copied videos. The service will scan and check if the content already exists or is very similar to other videos on the site.

The tool named as ‘Copyright Match tool’ will be available to the creators with more than 100,000 subscribers starting next week. YouTube will send a notification to creators if they spot a copied content and then the creators can decide the further course of action accordingly.
