Apple’s App Store turns 10 today and it signifies the importance of Apps on our smartphones. The download store had first opened on July 10, 2008 with not more than 500 titles and now it has more than 2M titles available that consist of Free/Paid Apps and some also use in-app purchases to monetize.
The mobile software analysis firm App Annie says that the average user spends three hours each day in Apps. Also on an average, the users are relying on forty unique Apps per month, with around eighty on their phone. The global download number also grew by 60% in 2017.
