Google Plans To Bring Fuchsia OS In 3 Years Across Smart Home Devices

Google’s under development Operating System named ‘Fuchsia’ has not given much of a sneak peak to the people. We have had a few video previews showing what the OS may look like but it’s still in the early stages. Now, reports say that the Fuchsia team is aiming to roll out the OS across every Google device in the next 3 years.

Fuchsia’s roll out will be starting to show up across smart home devices first and will gradually move on to the bigger devices like Laptops and phones in the next 5 years. This will eliminate Android and Chrome OS and replace every device with Fuchsia OS.

Google spokesperson said “Fuchsia is one of many experimental open source projects at Google. We’re not providing additional details about the project at this time.” Though the plans of Fuchsia OS looks very ambitious, it will be interesting to see if it will gather a larger market like Android and Chrome OS.
