Google Drive Will Soon Reach 1 Billion Active Users This Week

At the Google Cloud Next conference in San Francisco, the company announced that it’s file storage service Google Drive will be hitting 1 Billion people worldwide soon. Drive was launched by Google 6 years back, so it’s another big milestone for the company.

The previous billion users came from Google’s seven products that are Gmail, Chrome, Google Maps, YouTube, Android and the Google Play Store. So, Drive is the eighth product to enter this space. During the last year’s Google I/O Conference, it was revealed that Drive stored 2 trillion files and that it had over 800 million daily active users.
