Apple Likely To Ship The Next iPhones With A USB-C Charger

New photos on the Chinese media shows an USB-C type adapter for the next generation of iPhones. The images were reportedly taken someone in Apple’s supply chain. If this is true, iPhone fans will no longer have to worry about lightning connectors and will get a fast charger bundled with their iPhones.

One of the images reveals the specifications of the charger which reads as model A1720; 100-240V, 50/60Hz 0.45A and output 5V/3A, 9V/2A, which is close to an 18-watt output. Apple already supports USB-C in its MacBook line and also ships the low-powered chargers to the devices that don’t support fast charging.
