Amazon had introduced the voice control feature on Alexa App for Android at the beginning of the year and it had promised to bring this feature to iOS soon. It is now finally live on iOS and it marks the company’s expanding venture into third party Apps.
The iOS users who already have this smart-assistant App on their phones can ask the app for assistance starting today. This can be done with the tap of a button compared to Siri which is Apple’s native smart assistant.
Alexa can help you listen to music, access skills and control smart devices and answer queries related to weather, sports, calendar and movies. The update will be rolling out to the iOS users in the coming days.
