Google Updates Its Assistant, You Just Have To Say ‘Hey Google’ Once

Google had unveiled the idea for this update which brings seamless conversation with Google Assistant, back in May at the Google I/O Conference. The update now lets owners of Google Assistant voice-controlled speaker to say ‘Ok Google’ or ‘Hey Google’ once without having to repeat it before every question.

The company’s goal here is to help users accomplish tasks and get information more seamlessly. The assistant now works by remaining active with its rainbow LEDs illuminated—for eight seconds and the Assistant goes on standby if no speech is detected. Users can also end the conversation by saying ‘thank you’ or ‘stop’ after their final request.
