Google has redesigned the AdWords logo and some of its important features. CEO Sundar Pichai had given a hint about this long back saying “The company is excited by the still sizable opportunity in search advertising led by mobile and there are plans to enhance the user and advertiser experience.”
Sridhar Ramaswamy, the senior vice president who leads Google’s ad efforts said ” This is a primarily a name change, but it is indicative of where we have been directing the product. The company has been getting ‘consistent feedback’ over the past few years that the plethora of ad products and brands — assembled largely through acquisitions — could make it be confusing for advertisers”
