Looks like Google is going the Apple way with the notch on the top of the smartphone, as suggested by the leaked images on the site Slashleaks. Google is expected to reveal the next line Pixel phones in the coming months so these leaks and rumors somewhat seem like a preview of the big picture.
The screen protectors displayed in the image gives us a clear view of a thicker bezel less display on Pixel 3 and a notched display on the Pixel XL. The Chinese blogging platform Wiebo had first posted this image which was then removed, marking an indication of a major facelift to Pixel phones.
The holes at the top might be for Face ID sensors similar to the iPhone X. Maybe we could also see front-facing speakers or dual front-facing camera, which has never been on a Google smartphone before. The notch report goes against the alleged mockup of the new Pixel phones found in an Android P beta menu. The design shows a phone with no notch and slender bezels on all sides of the phone.
