Google Home is slowly becoming popular among the masses. While people are happy with the device and it’s features, the Home device was still lacking the support for Chromecast controls. Users were not able to play movies and tv via the device, which is now possible. Thanks to this update, now users can use voice commands for video playback and accessing other content.
Google has confirmed this report and has made the voice commands available on it’s Help Page for Google Home. The basic playback commands include pause, skip back, next/previous episode. Other interesting and essential features are you can ask the Assistant to start any tv show/movie, add subtitles and resume the video from where you want.
It’s a great update to Google Home and now controlling Google partnered apps like Netflix and HBO will be much easier for the subscribed users.
