A recent survey in the US on airline attendants, bartenders, waiters, baristas and TSA employees revealed that the Apple Watch is an integral part of their daily life as they cannot check their phones during the work hours. These service employees find the watch easier to check the notifications and allows them to stay connected while on the the job.
One worker said he walks within 300 feet of iPhone to check his watch while at work. Another, a hotel bartender, bought the watch for running but frequently checks it while working for his steps and calorie totals for the day.
Apple makes a substantial revenue with Apple Watch and sells nearly 4 million watches each quarter. The watch also benefits runners and other athletes for tracking their health and workouts.
