South Korea’s First Apple Store Opening On 27th January

Apple’s first store in South Korea will be coming up on 27th January. An image on a South Korean forum shows a store covered in a colourful banner with text added below indicating the official opening of the store.

This store is expected to be Apple’s 500th retail store around the world. The store is set to open up a few weeks prior to the Winter Olympics 2018 Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Pyeongchang on Friday, February 9.

Like other Apple retail stores, it will be open 7 days per week and will host Today at Apple sessions and have a Genius Bar for device repairs and troubleshooting.

Initially it was confirmed that Apple will build the store in the upscale district of Garosugil last January and complete by December. Though the constructions delays have massively pushed the date of completion.

Apple could also announce a new store by the end of January, where it’s store is nearly ready in Vienna,Austria location. The first Apple Store in Saudi Arabia may also come into picture soon owing to the regulatory changes.
