The most popular messaging app WhatApp has been gradually improving and making changes in the App for the best possible experience. The latest one come with the changes in voice and video calling feature where users can now switch easily between the two.
Users before had to end the voice call first and then make the video call if they had to switch between the two. The new update has solved this issue for many users. The feature basically has a button while you are on a on-going call where pressing this button will send a request to the person on the other side, asking they want to switch from voice to video.
Once the offer is accepted, the call will be switched and if the offer is declined, the voice call will continue as normal. WhatsApp is also planning to make calling feature available in groups.
Recently, a feature called ‘Reply Privately’ was rolled out where users could privately send a message to a participant in a group without anyone else knowing about it. This update was soon removed as one of the developers had wrongly enabled it.
