The recent leaks on iPhone from MacRumors suggests that Apple will be launching three iPhones based on the iPhone X design this year. This includes a second generation 5.8-inch iPhone, a 6.5-inch ‘iPhone X Plus’ and a supersized 6.1-inch ‘iPhone X SE.’
These new iPhones will have larger battery sizes. A hefty 3,300-3,400 mAh battery in iPhone X Plus and a battery of 2,950mAh for the iPhone X SE. These batteries won’t use the same advanced technology which allowed Apple to squeeze an L-shaped battery into the iPhone X. IT is expected to miss out on dual camera, 3D touch and OLED display.
Talking about the price of these iPhones, it will surely be alarming. The iPhone X plus will be priced higher for about $1200-$1350 while the once cheaper iPhone SE will see it’s iPhone X- inspired successor sell from $700-$800.
Apple’s strategy is to keep its design limited to premium models only by not retaining the phone at a cheaper price. Apple fans have always been very loyal and the financial aspects of these iPhones will surely be a test.
