Hey Google – The New Voice Command For Android Phones Is Out

Android users today got a new notification which says ‘Hey Google now available’. Now you can activate your Google Assistant with this voice command.

The users simply need to train their voice in Google Assistant. Once that’s done you can use your voice to use the Assistant on your phone. This new feature comes up after the ‘OK Google’ voice command for Google search which has been always there in Android phones. The ‘Hey Google’ command was introduced with the launch of Google Home smart speaker recently this year.

This new voice command also works in listening mode and can be used to wake up the phone when it is switched off . Basically, the user can retrain his voice for this new command from the earlier ‘OK Google’ command. Google also announced that it is going to bring this new feature in older smartphones running running Android 5.0 Lollipop and tablets running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

With this feature, Google is aiming to make the interaction with the phones more flexible and making the overall experience satisfactory for the users.
