Apple recently had launched 3 new models of iPhones namely iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus including the new one which was the iPhone X, which were available for purchase on November 3.Since then people have pre-booked and also stood in long queues to get hold of their new phones. Many of them were happy to get their phones for a higher price ranging from Rs.64,000-Rs.73,000 for iPhone8 and iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X starting from Rs.89,000 while others fans were left disappointed on missing out their phones because of low stocks in the Indian market.
There were a lot of pre-orders on Amazon and Flipkart, which went sold out within the first 15 minutes. So the fans were left cursing and they actually couldn’t do anything about it. It was later found out from sources that the stocks provided in India were as low as 500 units in a city when the demand for them online was around 15,000. Such shortage of iPhone X has made a nationwide outrage among fans who aren’t getting any happier by the day.
With higher demand and lower supply, Indian customers will have to be patient and play the waiting game for the prices to drop and hope the shortage scenario will improve in the coming months.
