Google has announced that it’s going to roll out the Google Lens feature on Google Assistant. Some Pixel phone users got a chance with early update, while others will have to wait for it. This update will be soon available in US, UK, Australia, Canada, India, and Singapore.
The Lens feature is really helpful to find information on objects or anything that you see in day-to-day life. Just open your Google Assistant and you will see a greyed-out Lens icon in the bottom left corner. Tap that icon and give Lens access to your camera. You’ll only need to do this the first time. Every time you open Lens after that, it’ll immediately launch into the viewfinder.
Google Lens is good with identifying objects like Book, Barcodes or any Landmarks , though it can also be faulty sometimes. It shows you a result card after the search and your images captured will appear in your general Assistant history. Lens can also be used to scan the Wi-Fi password at the back of the router which is pretty neat. So let us know what do you think of Google Lens in the comment section and stay tuned for future updates.
