Apple Pay have been in the market for a long time, and is already available for many countries, but the process of expansion doesn’t seem to slow down. Apple recently announced that it will extend Apple Pay to more countries namely, UAE, Denmark, Sweden and Finland by the end of 2017. Apple already know that the international market for Apple Pay is strong, and to make its foothold even stronger, it is taking such a step. Moreover, the new version of iOS, i.e. iOS 11 will consist of peer-to-peer payments. You will be able to pay to your friends through your iPhone.
We already know that there are many online wallets, used by many countries; but Apple Pay is exclusive to Apple devices only. Apple Pay needs authentication for transaction in the form of Touch Id, PIN or passcode. The devices which are suited for Apple Pay, yet are iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone SE, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro and Apple Watch.
