Apple’s new iPhone 8 and two other variants of the iPhone 7 will be featuring the much awaited wireless charging facility, as confirmed by an analyst. Wireless charging increases the internal temperature of smartphones, which will require the iPhone 8 with an OLED display and glass casing to have a new 3D Touch module with additional graphite sheet lamination to keep it from overheating.
The iPhone 8 is expected to arrive this fall.
Rumors indicate that this year being the 10th anniversary of the Cupertino based company, it is set to release three iPhones which could under the name iPhone 8 or the iPhone X and will come with big changes in terms of design and specifications.
For the very first time, the price of the latest model could shoot to as high as $1000 because of the radical changes and other rich enhancements including the new 3D touch module addition.
With wireless charging being introduced in the iPhone, the user will have the perks of charging the device wirelessly up to a distance of 15 feet and to use the device freely whilst it is charging. This is definitely inspiring and could revolutionize the way we charge devices and hope other phone manufacturers to follow it as well.
With Apple’s next-generation iPhones are not expected to launch anytime before September 2017, we can expect to have more clarity on Apple’s proposed technology in the coming days.
