Nokia is set to reveal several new handsets as it marks its return to the smartphone market following its short-lived dalliance with Microsoft. The Nokia P1 could be the company’s most powerful device to be launched. The newest and most eye-catching Nokia Android-powered handsets are just weeks away from being launched at Mobile World Congress later this month.
With just a few days left for the MWC 2017 tech event to commence, the flagship Nokia smartphone – Nokia P1 is hitting the headlines almost every other day. The device is rumored to feature an all glass curved body and will arrive in several color options, including Rose Gold, Black and Silver. It is also assumed to sport a really powerful camera with a 22.3MP Carl Zeiss rear camera lens, which is capable of producing more detailed images than any other Nokia device to date.
The device is claimed to be IP57 certified for water and dust resistance. Also, the entire package is to be combined by a 3500mAh battery to make it last for almost an entire day. A 5.3-inch display with FHD 1080p or QHD 1440p resolution is on the list . The screen is claimed to be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is likely to run on the latest Snapdragon 835 processor teamed up with 6GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage capacities.
The device is believed to arrive in two different storage capacities – 128GB and 256GB and are to be priced at $800 (approx. Rs. 54,500) and $950 (approx. Rs. 64,500) respectively .
The Nokia 6, which is only on sale in China for the time being, has already proved incredibly popular, reportedly selling out all its initial stock in just a minute. We can expect the Nokia P1 to be unveiled for the rest of the world at the Mobile World Congress 2017 which is slated to happen on February 26.
