The New MacBook – Apple Is On A Roll


mac1The Apple MacBook which was released about a year ago is finally getting an upgrade. This time in the form of a faster processor, a longer battery life and the Rose Gold option. The Rose Gold will be added option along with the Space Grey, and Silver along with other gold options. The new and improved MacBook will be available to buy starting tomorrow, the 20th of April 2016 from Apple’s online store.¬†

The new MacBook features the latest 6th generation Intel Core M processor which provides up to 1.1 GHz to 1.3 GHz of processing power. Apple has also upped the ante by increasing the memory from a 1600 MHz module to a faster 1866 MHz version this year. This year Apple has also increased the graphics capability of the MacBook by integrating the new and powerful Intel 515 graphic card that boasts of a 25 percent increase in power and promises better performance.


Apple still continues to please its potential customers by also integrating a better battery in the device as well. The new battery boasts of 10 hours of battery life when browsing the internet and 11 hours of continuous media playback. Technically, that’s an hour extra on both conditions than the previous edition of the MacBook. These claims maybe challenged when the MacBook is tested on heavy duty performance based tasks like editing and/or gaming.


The new MacBook will be available on the Apple’s online store starting today and in the retail stores starting tomorrow, that’s the 20th, April 2016. The MacBook will come in a variety of colors including the latest addition of Rose Gold. The pricing for this new MacBook starts at just $1299 for the 1.1 Ghz, 8 GB RAM along with 256 GB storage¬†option. The second option is from $1599 for the 1.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM along with 512 GB of storage. AS for the 1.3 Ghz processor and better memory options, Apple will only provide these on a build-to-order basis.
