Apple has done something that we can never expect from the company, they mistakenly updated their iTunes store’s iPad User Guide for iOS 8 with images for “iPad Mini 3” and “iPad Air 2”. Apple has now reverted the page back to the normal iOS 8 update with the current iPad images. iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 are being launched on October 16 at Apple’s Town Hall in Cupertino. The mistake atleast confirms what Apple plans to announce during the upcoming event.
From the screenshots, we can infer that the front look of both the devices is similar. iPads will now come up the Touch ID sensor found on iPhones. Since it is just images of the front panel and one of rear, other design changes cannot be noticed. Past rumors indicate iPad Air 2 will have a sleeker design, discontinuation of mute button, single line speaker grill, A8X processor, a new anti-reflective display, and a gold color option.
The Guide also confirms the addition of another new camera feature in iPad Air 2. The feature known as Burst Mode which helps in taking rapid fire photos in bursts. The feature was first introduced in iPhone 5S.
