An issue has plagued a few Galaxy Note 4 devices — a small gap between the metal frame and the front body of the device; in some cases, wide enough to fit a business card. However, it has been revealed that this is in fact not a manufacturing defect, rather it is a ‘necessary’ manufacturing feature. This help comes from Note 4’s Manual, under the troubleshooting section, where it says:
A small gap appears around the outside of the device case
This gap is a necessary manufacturing feature and some minor rocking or vibration of parts may occur.
Over time, friction between parts may cause this gap to expand slightly.
