The first Apple retail store for Middle East is expected to open soon. The store would be located in Mall of Emirates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is also expected that this will be the largest Apple Store opened to date.
According to Dubai’s luxury lifestyle magazine EDGARDaily.com, Apple is building the giant store in the cinema complex of the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.
“Our undisclosed source said that the store – which will be the biggest Apple has ever built – was originally planned to replace the current cinema complex. The timing of the recent job adverts suggest the store could have a planned opening for the first quarter of 2015.”
Mall of the Emirates spans over 2.4 million square feet and has more than 700 stores. Apple CEO Tim Cook had also visited Dubai in February meeting Apple resellers and also UAE Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
