Samsung has just posted images showcasing the manufacturing process behind their latest Galaxy Alpha.
What sets the Galaxy Alpha apart from other Samsung phones is that it is not made of plastic, rather, it is made of metal. In fact, the body of the device is carved out of a single large piece of metal using sophisticated machinery.
Not only does this make the phone much more durable, but also gives it a very premium feel, much like HTC’s ‘One’ devices.
The Galaxy Alpha is expected to be announced this September along with Note 4 and will be available in blue, gold, black, silver and white flavors. Going over the specs we know about, it has a 720p 4.7″ display, a 1.8GHz Octa Core Exynos 5 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB Internal Storage, a 1860mAh battery, and a 12MP and 2.1MP rear and front camera. Overall, it is a mid-grade device but with a metal body and an Octa core processor, so we’ll have to wait and see how it does.
