Apple has hired Musa Tariq as Retail division’s Digital Marketing Director. Musa Tariq is a social media whiz who was working with Nike as senior director of social media and community before joining Apple. He has also previously worked with Angela Ahrendts at Burberry to help turn around the brand’s perception using social media. Musa Tariq confirmed about the new move through his Twitter status. Last November, British Marketing Magazine included Tariq’s name in the “Power 100” list of most influential marketers in the U.K.
