According to IndiaToday, Motorola India will be holding a media event in New Delhi on September 5, hours after the company’s big event in Chicago where we expect to see the Moto 360 Smartwatch, the Moto X+1, and the Moto G2.
The invitation for the event in India shows a Moto X device, a Moto G device, and a watch, telling us which devices they will be announcing; though it is very likely that they will introduce only the G2 and postpone the other devices for later on this year.
The Moto G successor is expected to sport similar hardware but a better 8MP/2MP rear/front camera, and a 5″ 720p screen and 1GB RAM. We also expect a Snapdragon 400 Processor clocked at 1.2GHz and Android KitKat.
One of the biggest selling point of the Moto G in India was its low price (Rs 13,000) coupled with decent hardware. However, there are rumors going around that perhaps the Moto G2 will cost more than Moto G, but we can only know for sure once it is announced.
Are you excited about these devices? Will you be buying them? Let us know in the comments below.
