Apple’s app store saw record-setting revenue numbers in July, the company told CNBC. The Cupertino-based company also said that its app store saw a record number of customers making transactions.
During the last earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook noted that iTunes was one of its fastest growing businesses due to strong App Store results. iTunes showed a 12% increase year-over-year with a revenue of $4.5 Billion. At the same time Cook also announced a cumulative App Store download of 75 billion.
