Luxury modified iPhone and iPad vendor Feld & Volk has shared some pictures of completed 4.7-inch iPhone 6 rear shell. These pictures are of high resolution and focus on noticeable changes in the next-gen phone.
The first picture of the volume button cutouts in the rear shell shows them to be slightly recessed. This will make the phone look sleeker with an inline shape along the edges of the buttons. The same has been noted in the purported images of the New iPad Air’s rear shell.
The other change that is evident from the photos is the Apple Logo. According to Feld & Volk, it is “very extraordinary” and is made of scratch-resistant metal, probably a liquid-metal alloy.
As rumoured before, the camera is protruding and the image shows a ring around the camera. One of the pictures shows an internal long flexible cable which, according to Feld & Volk, could be for the home button.
Before Apple formally introduces the phone which it’ll do one month from now, we may see more such pictures of the iPhone 6 and its components. The media event for introducing iPhone 6 is planned on September 9 which will feature 4.7-inch iPhone 6, though there is still no clarity on the introduction of the 5.5-inch model during the event. It is expected 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be available to customers from September 19.
