Google Translate App Now Supports Phonetic Input For Indian Languages

google translateThe Google Translate App has just been updated with support for phonetic typing for a bunch of new languages, namely: Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.

Since many languages don’t have the required keyboards on Android devices, Google Translate allows you to type what the word sounds like in English, and it will automatically convert it to the native version, allowing for easy translation.

The update also has the usual bug fixes.
