German website iFun has reported the presence of Family Sharing in a few Apps on both App Store and Mac Store. Family sharing is a new feature that will come with both iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite during their launch in September. Family Sharing allows up to six people in a family to share their purchases made from iTunes, iBooks, and the App Store.
Besides allowing family members to download paid music, movies, TV shows, books, and Apps without having to share IDs and passwords, the feature also sets up a family photo stream and shared Calendar. With Family photo sharing members can share photos, videos, and comments. In the shared calendar all members can add events that is displayed to all.
Currently, the Family Sharing labels have only appeared on a few Apps, probably the ones where the feature is being tested by developers.
