According to a recent report by Re/Code, September will not only witness the launch of iPhone 6 but also an introduction to Apple’s wearable device. Re/Code’s previous report had indicated October as the launch month for the watch, but the recent report says Apple has changed its plans.
Remember back in June when I said Apple hoped to schedule a special event in October to show off a new wearable device? Remember how I also said this: “Could things change between now and fall? That’s certainly possible.” Turns out that was a prescient hedge, because things have changed. Apple now plans to unveil a new wearable alongside the two next-generation iPhones we told you the company will debut on September 9th.
Apple has yet not released any design specifications for the device, but designers from various fields have depicted multiple designs based on rumoured data. The most common designs floating in the market suggest a wrist worn device like a watch with a flexible AMOLED display.
