As noted by The Loop, Apple has sent out media invitations for the special event where it will be introducing the iPhone 6. As rumoured before, the event is scheduled on the September 9 and will be held at the Flint Centre for the Performing Arts in Cupertino. Registration for the event will start at 8:00 am and the event will begin from 10:00 am.
The invitations carry the date, basic details and tagline “Wish we could say more.” It is expected that the event may also feature 5.5-inch iPhone 6 and ‘iWatch’.
4.7-inch iPhone 6 is rumoured to be available on the market from 19 September, but 5.5-inch iPhone 6 and iWatch may arrive much later due to production difficulties. In addition to products, the new operating system iOS 8 may also be introduced.
Unlike previous times when Apple chose the Cupertino campus or Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, this time the event is at Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino. The change of venue is probably due to a larger number of audience that is expected to attend the event.
