Apple has updated its App Store section “Apps Made by Apple” by adding Beats Music to it. Earlier this month, Apple added a webpage to its official website, welcoming Beats to the Apple family.

‘Apps Made by Apple’ features Apple-designed Apps like Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iPhoto, iMovie, iBooks, Podcasts and more. Adding Beats Music to this section will allow Apple users to download the App and use the music streaming service which the App provides. The App currently has around 250,000 subscribers and the number has grown significantly in last few weeks with the App’s prominent placement in App store.

Beats Music App is available free to download and the music streaming service comes at a price of $9.99 per month and $99.99 per year. There is no free, ad-supported listening service/subscription available in Beats Music.

Beats is not a new or recently updated App, yet it has been added to “Best New Apps” section on the App store to encourage more downloads.
