Android 4.4.4 Rolling Out For Moto X In The UK

The UK Moto X has just starting receiving the latest Android KitKat update, bringing it up to Version 4.4.4. This also updates the Motorola firmware on the device, adding improvements to the Camera, the option to pause videos while recording, as well as a new dialer that matches the stock Google one, bringing card-like speed dials.

Another option this update brings is to disable the carrier text that appears in the upper left corner of the screen, on the status bar. To do so, head over to Settings, then Wireless & Newt works, More, Mobile Networks, and then uncheck “Show Mobile Network”.

If you have a GSM Unlocked Moto X in the UK, head over to Settings – About Phone – System Updates to get the latest taste of Android KitKat on your phone.
