The recently opened Apple Store in Paradise Walk, China reveals the detailed specifications of the next-gen 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro. Feng.com, Chinese Apple Forum, posted the rumoured image captured from the store that carries the details and the pricing of the updated line of Retina MacBook Pros.
The image shows three configurations priced at 14,288 yuan,18,688 yuan and 23,688 yuan. The first two are priced the same as current price of 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro line in China. The specification details faster Intel Core i7 chips and higher RAM. According to the image, the low-end variant now seems to have a RAM allotment of 16GB compared to 8GB before.
The entry-level 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro that is available for 14,288 yuan will feature
- 2.2GHz Intel Core i7 CPU
- 16GB RAM
- 256GB SSD
- Intel’s integrated Iris Pro graphics
The mid-level version that is available for 18,688 yuan will feature
- 2.5GHz Intel Core i7 processor
- 16GB RAM
- 512GB SSD
- Nvidia GeForce GT 750M discrete graphics card with 2GB of GDDR5 memory
The top-end version that is available for 23,688 yuan will feature
- 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 CPU
- 16GB of memory
- 1TB SSD
- Intel Iris Pro and Nvidia GeForce GT 750M graphics
The image doesn’t give details of the launch date of the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, but according to old rumours it may be launched by September.
