Samsung To Launch Android Wear Smartwatch

According to a CNET report, Samsung will be among the companies launching an Android Wear powered Smartwatch this year at Google I/O, along with LG and Motorola.

Samsung already has a Smartwatch line, their Galaxy Gear products, that recently switched to Tizen OS instead of Android. While those were useful only with Samsung Galaxy devices, their Android Wear Smartwatches are expected to be universal, along with being released as two versions, one with a Qualcomm processor, and another with Samsung’s own, perhaps the Exynos.

Apart from vague speculations, there is not much that is known as of now. Stay tuned as we cover more as it develops, and as Google I/O arrives starting the 25th.
