One of the smaller, yet quite important changes that OSX 10.10 Yosemite has brought with it, is AirDrop support for the Mac.
Introduced with iOS 7, AirDrop is a service that allows Apple iDevice users to share files and content between iOS devices using a WiFi network or bluetooth. With the update, however, users will be able to sync and share files between their Macintosh computer, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. However, there isn’t, and probably won’t ever be, support for Windows Computers.
